Rubber Floor Restoration

Old polish and embedded dirt had to be stripped off this Pirelli style rubber floor before it could be re-sealed to enable effective cleaning. We refinished the floor to make it resistant to foot traffic of 800 pupils and to make daily cleaning an easier task. To help control the soil brought in from outside and optimise daily cleaning, we supplied entrance matting and developed a cleaning programme for the in-house cleaning team.

Testimonial

'Unique Floorcare has provided an excellent service with expert advice. What was once a problem with our canteen floor is now a thing of the past. I am now looking forward at hiring Unique Floorcare's services for our Sports Hall and Theatre.
As a Facilities Manager I come across many suppliers and service providers and would not normally give them 10/10 in rating, but with regards to Unique Floorcare I have no hesitation in scoring them highly.'

  • Neutralising the floor is an important step to achieve good adhesion for the floor finish. In this case, several rinses were needed and only when the floor was 'neutral' could we apply the finish.
